My Mother was a self-employed homemaker who made a living selling ceramic work art and other decorative items. One of her gifts is making parties. In fact, our trip to the US was funded by a big wedding job before relocating to the USA. I have accepted this as a way of life with gratitude because is part of who I am. In my culture birthdays are important and decorations is a form of art expression. I remember my Mother starting planning my 15th birthday when I was 9 years old. I hope you enjoy with us our birthday party!
Grandma McCulloch went on a trip to Paris and brought Anastasia an astonishing and fun replica of Eiffel Tower. This was so beautiful that my Mother and I thought it would be the perfect cake topper. Ideas continued to flow and I thought a service project a humane society would be awesome. Then, my Mom and I thought about the Pink Paris Poodle Theme.. Anastasia loves dogs.. Doggy was the first word she said! Love for Animals is an inheritance from Grandma McCullochs side of the family. Through reading of family history stories and cherished memories about animals in the family, I am aware of many generations that shared this sentiment. For example. Great Great Grandma Letitia, Great Grandma Edna, Grandma McCulloch, Aunt Caroline and now Anastasia.
