My Mother was a self-employed homemaker who made a living selling ceramic work art and other decorative items. One of her gifts is making parties. In fact, our trip to the US was funded by a big wedding job before relocating to the USA. I have accepted this as a way of life with gratitude because is part of who I am. In my culture birthdays are important and decorations is a form of art expression. I remember my Mother starting planning my 15th birthday when I was 9 years old.
